Rem Full Choke (Lead & Steel)??????

Just a new turkey hunter. Looking at a Remmy Full choke for my 870. They have a Full (Steel or Lead) Choke.

I was always told not to fire steel through a full choke!!!!!
Won't it damage the gun???
 
Some say not to do it, but if the choke is a Remington choke and is clearly marked for lead or steel, I wouldn't hesitate.

Normally steel doesn't pattern very well through a full choke anyways.

I plan to use the remaining shell from that box this year, but with a Baikal MP-153 semi-auto (I sold the 870).
