Can someone fill me in on which models come with the X-Mark trigger? Also then would it be worth the extra $ to get a model that has this trigger?? Chances are I will part out whichever I get for the action. Thanks in advance. Mark

they're not really worth any more than the older triggers. Any model made in the last two years should have an XmarkPro trigger on it

i did the same except i bought the sps varmit, the triggers too heavy, I will definatly be tunning mine or outright replacing it.....

I replaced the x mark with an older 700 trigger. Had to use a butane torch on the x mark to break the epoxy on the adjustment screws.

Did you try a soldering iron on the epoxy? We found this to be the best method as heat is concentrated and no flame. I shot a VSSF ??? with the x mark and liked the way it broke. I have lots of timneys and traisters and 1 jewell but was trying to get away from another $250 spent for what I consider a small gain. At the matches I attended the guys with the $700 rifles did as well as the $3500 ones. For myself I'm sure a 700 with factory trigger and a Kreiger barrel will shoot much better than I can. Just want to scare some 500 yd. gophers. Mark

The very point I have tried to make over and over. The barrel is everything and 3500 on a factory gun with a factory barrel is a waste of money if absolute accuracy is your objective.

They dont fit HS stocks ether because the safety lever sticks out more then the old style.

For a factory trigger, they ROCK. I've got a Jewell trigger too, but the Remington X-markpro is very good. Set at a lower pull weight at the factory and breaks very clean
