I picked up a Remington XCR II in 300 WSM. I plan on testing it out then stripping it for the action. Just need some help with the salvage value of the Hogue stock and the stainless coated stainless barrel like new.

The stock is worth maybe $50-$100 at most. The barrel is not going to be worth much; not a good caliber and the coated barrel makes is very difficult to adapt for another use. Someone who wants a .300 WSM barrel that's been Nitrided might want it, but he and his gunsmith will end up not happy.
