rem700 300rum rebarrel to 300wsm

i have a rem700 lss in 300 rum,and i want to re-barrel it to a 300wsm.will this work?? will i have feeding problems chambering a short action cartridge in a long action? i will have a lot of room to seat out different bullets. plan on a sendero contour.

Try feeding some through the magazine now... if it does not work it now probably never will...

actually if you change the barrel you could, not with the same barrel because of the lengh of the case. again the case head would be bigger than the 300 rum so it might be the second problem.

Cheaper and easier to trade it in on a WSM rifle.
