Rem700 stock...

I do not find the MagPul stock to be as awful as Hitzy has suggested. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it works. Set one up with a 700 based barrelled action with JC barrel in .308. No problems consistently shooting sub-minute.

I have no issue with my M40 stock either, quite solid and comfortable. The whole gun was $700 new from Coastal Outdoors which is a pretty good deal for the way it shoots.
Cheaper then some SPS versions.

Whoa whoa whoa... backup .

This 700 with the stock and it's not an SPS was $700 new ?? What model is this exactly ?

This is a nice rifle.

Does anyone happen to know which DBM will work with those B&C varmints? It says m5 which I'm assuming is the badger (wow expensive).

AICS detachable bottom metals are very similar. The only difference is how much fitting they will take. For example, the Stiller DBM will fit a factory Remington 700 bottom metal inlet, you only need to remove some of the inside for the box part of it. Other ones require a varying amount of material to be removed/epoxy added.
