I'm guessing that the venue was Sarnia, since that FGT looks like Alfred Baines' vehicle.

The 15 cwt CZ4285706 would be a "memorial" restoration of the original vehicle which was bombed by USAAF bombers at Cormelles, France. 8 Aug 44.
See Canada's Fighting Vehicles,Vol 1, Second Edition, illustration no 9.

Wow... i'm impressed, a mere 45 km from my house. I look forward to the Rememberance Day celebrations tomorrow. Let us all remember not only the great sacrifice these daring men and women made, but also be joyous in the freedom we enjoy today for thier efforts. As an old quote goes:
"Let the dead not be saddened by the sobs of widows... let them be elated by the joyous cries of the free."
Let us remember them who fought and died upon the fields named and un-named, on both sides, for all men are equal before the sight of the Lord. Amen.

Yours
