My buddy and I put in for our lottery elk tag long before the due date, and I picked up my caribou tags the first day they came out. It's odd, some years the caribou tags will sell out and others they won't, I don't take the chance on missing out. All the rest of my tags, moose, muzzle and rifle deer, as well as upland bird license, I pick up later, no worries about them. There is no limit on tags for those seasons here.
