Can I please get some help with pricing this nice little .410. It has a 24.5" VR double bead skeet barrel. Overall very nice condition with some bluing loss at the muzzle and some marks on the butt stock. I saw some silly prices on US auction sites but can't find any info on the same model here. Thanks for any help.

Two 11-48 sold in the last year in Canada at auction for $210 and $290, they were 16 and 12 gauge, 410 should be in the same price range.

Made obsolete in the 1970's by the Rem 1100 as a skeet gun and no serious skeet competitor would use an 11-48 today so it is a nostalgia gun in reality. In as nice shape as that one appears you can ask any price you want but somewhere in the range of $300 - 350 is where it will likely sell unless you can find a way to ship it to the USA and hope for more.

I don’t think you could touch anything of that quality in a 410 for less than 700 considering it’s got a 3 inch chamber
Forget it being a competitive skeet gun but still a great little grouse gun.
Considering that a Mossberg pump in 410 goes for 3-400 you’ve got some good advice on the high end prices

Found 4 on guns international fairly good site as far as realistic pricing always the high optimist. Same guns exactly 2@ 900,00 1 @ 1000$ and 1 @ 1400 so imeditly discount the 1400. Now the other prices are asking price these guns have not sold . So as far as if this gun was in the states it would sell for this much $’s that is errlvent a offer of 10%to 15% less would likely buy anyone of those guns . So like I mentioned $550-650 is likely fairly accurate pricing .

Exactly, and if you look at how the 1100 prices have tanked recently in fear of the possible pending guberment BS, it reaffirms that price. Not a bad little gun but you can't weave silk out of a pig's ear.

Two markets for this gun - recreational Skeet and grouse getter.
Used 1100 Skeet would be substantially more desirable. Gagnon's recently sold a 1100 .410 for $799.
I think I would price it at $495 and dicker on that.
$300 is lowball.

Not a big following for the 1148 even in 410
Just too hard to get parts for if something happens
That being said still worth between 500 and 600 in that condition IMO
Cheers

8 years ago I gave $500 to Epps for an 11-48 in 410. Had a Cutts on the end and a magazine weight. It’s a hoot to use once in a while, but I got tired of chasing the hulls to reload so got a O/U with a tube set.

Reality is taking affect sitting at 749 $ even my $550-650 likely optimisti $450-500 likely where it may sell . Find a auction to list it in then you will get top $ . A fellow brought a 11-48 28 ga field gun into the shop one day nice gun vent rib mod choke I did a minor repair on it . I offered him good money but to no avail out the door it went .
