Has anyone had a chance to shoot one of these yet???

Looks like it might be a nice gun. Something to rival the Urika (3" sporting configuration)

Kind of a refined 1100 ... that points & balance more like a 58 Sportsman
(which IMHO is a good thing ) ... nicer looking wood than most Remingtons (even though the buttstock is 2 pieces ) ... seems to crunch Skeet targets well enough with the new barrel configuration. Other 1100 / 11-87 barrels are apparently not interchangeable.

It apparently handles light target loads as well as a heavy 3" magnum?? Has this been your experience also?

Did yours come with the 5 extended chokes or flush ??

I used to shoot a browning gold sporting and a 11-87 sporting for clays (both guns are very similar and fit me like a glove) but I traded them in on a 391 sporting so I would have the 3" capability for hunting. I really havent fallen in love with the 391. It functions fine, I shoot it fine but just doesnt fit like I want.

I'm enertaining the ideas of trading the 391 sporting in for one of the 100G3's........

Can you get the 391 to fit with any of the spacers?? I figured just about any taste could be satisfied, unless very extreme, with these adjustments.

The 391 hits where I'm looking so i cant say it doesnt fit and its a fine gun. I cant put my finger on what the problem is but I just havent been really overjoyed with the 391 From the day I got it.

I used my Gold hunter for both targets and field, fits nice and I love it. I may be trading it in on a Browning Silver, I just hope the new one can handle the target loads.
