Hey guys just picked this up today on trade
its a Remington 1100, 21 inch smooth bore 2 3/4 deer barrel
there are so many models of these and its confusing to value and put it up on EE as I want to ask an appealing and realistic price ( not be laughed at overvaluing ) owner purchased new 10 years ago and he claims its unfired....small chip stock as pictured
any info would be great as pertaining to price and value
thanks in advance

Less than $800.00 and more than $500.00.
It does appear to be a large frame 1100, but I could be mistaken cause I'm in Starbucks and the glare in your picture is among it hard to see.
Again, I'm caffeine deprived, but in the ball park imo only.

If the serial number prefix is indeed an "N" as I see it in the picture that places production to sometime between 1978-1984. The pressed fleur de lys checkering on the wood is period correct to that time frame as well. $600 is fair for the condition but may prove to be a hard sell. Seems people would rather buy new firearms of questionable quality than something of high quality on the used market these days.

The fellow you got it from may have bought it 10 years ago and never fired it but that gun is defenitely late 70's to early 80's and more than likely fired more than a few times when they have chips out of the pistol grip. I'd put that gun in the $500 -$600 range.

450-500$ range cyl bore with rem 700 sights 2 3/4" gun may b more appealing with a 28"vent rib mod choked bbl would make it a dual purpose gun
