Remington 1100 Sporting owners

They are soft-shooting guns. The action is simple, reliable, and durable, and easily fixed should anything go wrong. It's been around for decades. The guns themselves balance and point well. May not have the cachet of a "B" gun, but so what?

Keep a spare o-ring and a small can of spray lube with you. That should be all you need to keep it functioning for years.

The "B" Gun

My personal favourite is the "B" gun. In particular the Benelli Super Sport because is much more reliable and simpler to maintain. No "O" rings to fail, no need for lots of lube, no powder fouling ... falls apart quickly to clean and works better dry because it uses an inertia system.

But we are talking about personal preferences aren't we.

Great guns for the $$, if you don't have $2000 to invest...I just got another one in the mail yesterday, only its a 20ga...:)
