Good evening, I am having the odd issue with my 1100 ftf and fte. I am shooting target loads with it. I found putting the full choke in helped the problem get about 50% better. I replaced the o ring and cleaned the rifle totally. Any other ideas? This is my first semi shotgun. Thank you for reading

Go spring (buy) for a box of hunting shells, buck shot etc and see if there is any difference. Mine really wasn't a fan of target loads fed or winchester. I changed o ring,recoil spring in buttstock etc but only full loads did the trick. Even thought about opening up the gas hole in the barrel. In the end I bought a Mossberg 930 and couldn't be happier with it. Still love my pump action though.
I was thinking about changing to a one piece gas ring, although I'm not sure it it would help. I'm scared to open up the gas ports though although it will primarily be used for small game hunting. I will pick up some full power loads today and see how they work. Thank you
