Remington 1100 Tactical Build

I have a Remington 1100 and I am considering converting it to a tactical shotty.

Are 870 and 1100 parts interchangeable?

Where can I find some parts for it?

Can I get a mag extender for a Semi? and if I do can I still the on the original furniture and hunt with it? (Not likely to happen just curious.)

Also looking for a suggested barrel length?

Any other comments or suggestions would be great.

check 5 threads down from this one, and talk to badboybeeson. He seems to have some great shotgun products. I believe some things are interchangable, but not everything. I also believe you'll have to plug your mag extension if you put one on. Good luck, and remember to post pics when you're finished!

SOME 870 parts are compatible, but very few.

Barrel length - I would stay about 18.5" unless you want a restricted one, but that blows. Mag tube must be limited to 5 internally, but you can have one a long as you want.
