Remington 1187 waterfowl

i have a pump 870 already and hunt ducks and geese,no problems.saw this model on line and was curious if anyone had one if it was any good.in the market for a semi but don't want to spend $1300 .thanks

I have a camo 3 inch 28 inch barreled 11-87. It is about 10 years old. It always shoots when the trigger is pulled. It has been a good shotgun.

Had a couple over the years buying my first when they came out I think in 87.
They are Ok if kept very clean and I am a remington man. That being said if I had to sell one of my 12ga semi. It would be the 1st to go without a tear but you would not get any of my browning golds or winchester super x's.
If it was me I would look for a good used super x2 or 3.

If you can find a good winchester super x2 on the EE or anywhere used that would be an excellent choice.

After a quick search on the EE there are some great dealson semi auto shotguns on there.
