remington 1862 .31 pocket.

George has this little gun we have been hunting parts for, remington 1862 .31 pocket. It came with 2 cylinders. The .31 cap and ball as well as a 2 part cylinder for .32 rimfire. The innards are missing from this guy and we only have the front piece of the .32 rimfire cylinder. We don't have the cap and ball one at all.

CVA I know puts out a replica, my question is would these parts fit? Or would anyone know of a source of parts?

You could try Dixie Gun Works in the U.S. they have parts for the originals as well as reproductions..good prices and delivery as well.

X 2 on Dixie gun works. They have supplied me with original parts from time to time for Colt and Remington revolvers.

We have checked them out many times, they have screws only for this gun.
Seven different screws.

CVA lists a percussion-only copy of this gun (no .32 Rimfire cylinder), brass-framed as opposed to the original iron.

Does anyone have experience with one of these, any idea how close they are to the originals, or any idea who might be importing the parts?
