Have been looking at the 700LV-SF and the700VSSFII.I was wanting to know your guys thoughts on these rifles for a coyote gun.I have always used a 30.06and now I would like a 22/250. Would there be much advantage with the heavier VSSFII . Or would a Savage be the better choice? The weight of the Savage is my only concern. Any input would be appreciated as I know little of these rifles and want to make the best informed choice possible.
Thanks.

I own a LVSF in 223, and it is an awesome rifle. the lighter weight of the lvsf makes it, in my eyes, a much better coyote rifle. If all you do is hunt them from your truck, then the heavy rig would get the nod.

if you have problems locating a lvsf 22-250, send me a PM, I know where there is one on the shelf.

Ive got a Rem Model 700 VSSF and its one of the nicest looking rifles, feels great, trigger sux but shooots .75 MOA easy.
I took alook at the VSSF 2's but am not a fan of the fat palm swells, the black in the fluting is pretty cool as is having 2 swivel studs.

Cheers!!
