Has anyone ever seen a Remington 22lr pump featherweight ?

Apparently it has an aluminum receiver and barrel with a steel liner.

Any idea if their a collectors piece or worth any more than the regular Model 572 Remington.

Thanks

Mark

Yep: I have owned one. They were made in different colours.......probably back in the 70's. Made in Bucksin Tan, Bluewing Teal and a black colour but can't recall the name of it. Unlesss things have changed lately I don't think they have a lot of collector value........but they are a bit different. I would guess only slightly higher than a standsrd model.

The black one was called "Crow Wing Black". Some had a very light blonde stock that was advertised (I think) as a "Sun Grained" stock. All the ones I have seen have been the "BDL" or Deluxe Stock versions with cut checkering and better quality wood.

Rem. 572

I bought one brand new in 1959 in Buckskin Tan. I still have it. Only weighs 4 pounds. I've shot many, many thousands of rounds through it - never ever had a problem with it. It's only worth about $250 today. I should have bought a Winchester 61 instead - they're worth a lot more! I believe the Crow-wing black and Teal Wing blue versions are more desirable because fewer of them were made.
