Remington 40x

How does a guy get his hands on one of these in Canada and what kind of a price tag do they have.

I had them special ordered with barrel twist etc through the Remington Distributor and waited a couple of years. That why you order the one's you would like to have. Give's you a chance
to obtain the rest of the parts to do a build.

Put up a WTB ad and wait patiently with $1000-2000. There's some out there, it won't happen overnight thou. If it's a new one your after like others said put in a order and wait.

The Gun Dealer in shows them on his web site but as a complete package 6000 if memory serves.

I was told you couldnt get a rimfire 40x from the custom shop anymore.

The last time I checked with the Remington Custom Shop the 40X was not available in .22lr. I picked up a 40XBR-KS from EE a few years back but they are extremely rare. The repeaters are also very rare but I found one that was NIB.

Will pick up a tuner and firing pin spring today. Trying to cover all the bases. Trigger is set down to 4 oz. There are still some available and can develop into a labor of love.

Might be easier to locate a Stiller "CLONE" of a 22RF 40X. It won't be cheap but something to consider!

I picked up one that is an excellent shooter from Horseman a couple of years ago and it was the best investment I made. I used it to shoot in benchrest at my local clubs and just found out I took first place overall for the year in the open .22RF class at one of the local clubs.
