Is it the underbarrel tube-fed version? If so, you are a lucky one...![]()
You'll love it. It has great velocity (I know some will argue about optimum barrel length for a .22, but I'm talking based on experience with this rifle compared to a Savage 3B's shorter barrel), good capacity and shoots accurately enough if the barrel's in decent shape. And the action means you needn't feel a compulsion to buy a trigger lock. It is a fuller-sized rifle, and a pleasure to handle.
Edit: Try CB's in it...and .22 S/L/LR...
Don't need no pics.
All the same...:

The 512 (sportmaster?)
I feel your pain. They seem to have had difficulties matching the names to the models; 512 Scoremasters are not unheard of, either.
is a great old 22. They are very solid, but the trigger usually sucks.
Um, it isn't a match trigger, but it's not awkward/clunky, either. My $0.02?
They normally won't shoot 1/2" at 50 yards, but are plenty accurate for hunting and informal target work.
And they fire and feed Rem Goldens! That's no small feat!
Nice rifles...

Thanks to all for the comments !
I just got one as well (Sportmaster). Holding it for someone who inherited it but doesn't have the acq. license. Hope it forgets about it. Would it be worth $100.00?
Wow ! I just shot that rifle yesterday and I was able to put 5 rounds in less than half inche at 50 yards !
Couldn't believe my eyes !
I did it with regular federal Ammo !
I am certainly going to hold on to it !
