Warning Heavy Pic's

A.K.A. "Black Beauty"
The barrel was threaded and a vortex flash hidder installed by the great guy's at Dlask. The stock is a colapsable stock that also fold's, curitesy of Brownells. The Pistol grip is a Hogue grip and the fore stock is a Yankiee Hills free floating handgaurd. Further more I also want to take this time to thank DrLector for the hook-up with these great guy's at Dlask. Besides the once over, some rifle repair's and helpful hint's from Dlask I deiced to also do a trigger job done by myself. For optic's I went with a Tasco 3-9x56mm dual illumination scope with an anti-reflection device. As for magazine's the top notch Shooter's Ridge 597 25 rounders got the nod. (Thanx MysticPercision on this one!) Now enough with the bs talk. Let's see it all ready!
So here are the body pic's

Enough of this B.S.! I want to know how accurately does it shoot on rapid fire?

P.S. Feel free to post your like's or dis-likes or any questions that you might have on this thread and I will try to help you out as best I can. Also all pic's were done by my crackberry so unless some one want's to buy me a digital camera for christmass well you now were to go and how to get there!

Great set-up you have!

I just bought one of these, and it's on the way to me right now....
One question, I stopped by the gun shop today, and they told me that I couldn't swap out the handguard for an AR style quad rail system...is that true? Also was it a big deal for them to install the muzzle break? This gun looks much better with one...

did they say why you cant? like its physically impossible? because if something isnt in existence yet, im sure it could be machined. Or did they give you some legal reason? Id be skeptical either way.

No...they just said that it wasn't set up to accept the quad rail system....I think he was referring to the mounting system Remington used!?

Yes you can but you need to install a delta ring. As for the muzzle break you will have to thread the barrel or put on a slip on one. If you want I might have a competion one laying around.

That would be cool! PM me with the details if you don't mind...

What and where can a fella find one of these so called "Delta" rings...

Well....my 597 VTR arrived.....now how the hell do I install a collapsible stock??

Rookie here folks...gonna need a "stock swap for dummies" play by play ;)

Unscrew the top rear screw of the buttstock. Then take your AR15 combo tool and unscrew the buttstock lock. Unscrew the buffer tube and your done.

Place your gun receiver in a vice make sure to protect the sides with a cloth or soft wood. Take a 16mm wrench place it on the end of the tube you cold use a vice grip give a shape jarring motion in the counter clock wise direction. Then you should be able to unscrew your tube by hand. Good luck.
