Remington 597 VS Ruger 10 /22

i have both and i like my 597 better way less jams with both factory 10 shot clips and the 30 shot i have only had 1 jam through 600+ shots and i think it was a bad shell but my 10/22 on the other hand should just be blown up stupid think jams all the time

already covered.10-22 for me! No end to the ways you can dress it up. Less so for the 597.

597. more accurate, cheaper, very reliable and again more accurate.

Overall: All of the differences above are just slightly more or less than the other with the exception of the accessories although u can get the 597 in VTR which is pretty bad4ss. I shot my friends 10/22's tons of times and i own the Remington 597 myself. Honestly when people say you can't go wrong with either, you really can't here. You narrowed it down to the top two .22's rifles that exist and both are tied for first so voila!
...but because "I" have a 597 i like mine more hehe It's even in my avatar

Is this out of the box?
Cause I imagine once you make all the different upgrades and such. The decision would come down to what brand you prefer.
I'd say the 597 is more accurate. Shot about 200 rounds today at 50 yards and you can punch holes with the SK standard plus ammunition, 0.5 inch groups with 3-5 shots is no problem. The ammo really makes it incredible accurate. Have to shoot 100 yards next week, wouldn't be surprised if it would shoot MOA.
Finally had very little feeding issues with the 30 round magazine.
