Remington 597 VTR A2 stock replacement

Does anyone know if you can replace the A2 stock with a 6 position AR15
stock,if so is it commercial or mil spec?

I'd love to know an answer to this too. I must be possible, since it's sold in that format stateside.

Yes you can. It will take a commerical or milspec. I have a milspec on mine.
