Hi Guys,

I have owned a Remington 5R MilSpec rifle in .308 and found it to be a wonderful shooter...does anyone here have experience with the .223 version? I'm considering one of these.

Thanks, Jeff/1911.

I've got one and love it !, My most accurate rifle, I may change the stock in the future (not sure if I like the feel of it) but I may just leave it because the gun shoots so good as is. Easily a .5 MOA gun, all day long.

Yup, it's my gopher getter.

I'm trying to decide between this rifle and a Savage LRPV...I know they are different styles of rifles, but for my purposes they will both perform admirably, I think. I will mostly be trying to shoot flies off of the targets backboard at the range...:) but also I'd like a good gopher gun to use in case I ever find a place in Central Alberta here where I'm allowed to shoot them with a centrefire. So far, this has not happened.

Well, I gave in and put money down on this Savage LRPV in .223 that EPPS had listed. It's the left port, single shot version w/ target Accutrigger.

I owned one of these before in .22-250, so I know about what to expect from this rifle. :)
