Remington 700 build in .308 Q's

I'm curious.

I read a few Remington 700 build in the precision rifles section, the ones with AICS. In the EE there's a few barrels for sale but no actions. Is it rare to see an action for sale?

Is there a place for buying 700 .308 actions or is it better to buy the complete rifles? I saw that custom 700 .308 actions are pretty expensive 900$USD+

Any link(s) you could give me of a well documented Remington 700 .308 build (step-by-step) with AICS that I really need to read?

Generally speaking, Remington does not sell Model 700 actions. About the only way to get one is to dismantle a rifle. There are 700 type actions made by other makers, which are quite expensive, as you noted. A new SPS or a clean used rifle are probably the least expensive ways to obtain a 700 action.
The 700 barrelled action is a drop-in in a AICS stock. Buy it and put it together. Is there a specific reason you want the AICS? There are other options.
Basically, obtain a rifle, have the barrel removed, have whatever tuning done that you want, have the barrel of your choice fitted. Install the scope and mount system that you choose.
Or, you could just buy one of the Remington factory rifles with the features closest to what you want, install the scope and mount, invest in ammunition and range time and shoot the thing. Once that barrel has been used up, you can use the action to build a custom rifle with the exact features that you want.

"...a few barrels for sale..." Likely barrels taken off rifles being built just like you want to do.
Remington absolutely does not sell actions only. Look around for a used short action rifle chambered in any cartridge of the .308 family. They all have the same bolt face.

Is there a specific reason you want the AICS? There are other options.

I read that the AICS is alu bedded and I like to build things myself. Also, I like the look (green-tactical).

At first, I wanted to buy a SPS-V .308 for the barrel and action @ 735$ then I saw in the EE a fluted barrel. I was curious to know the pricing of a used 700 .308 action.

I like to read a lot on a subject before making a move. Building the rifle before the falls is my goal.

Any advices on that build welcome.
