Remington 700 DM Help

Hello Fellow CGN Users

Let me start off by how I reached my conclusion that my Remington 700 XHR chambered in 30-06 needs a detachable mag. After bear hunting the last couple weekends - getting in and out of the truck many times - it became apparent that popping the bottom off my mag open and having bullets spill out to unload was getting quite tedious and having to fill the internal in a hurry was not working.

So my question is What do I need to do this and where can I get it? Can I get genuine Remington Stuff?
 
I use a Kwik Klip conversion on two of my 700 rifles for hunting. I have installed many for other hunters... I am very happy with mine and as far as I know the others are as well. Kwik Klip requires no alteration to your action. I think they are better than the DM Remington makes which requires altering the action.

Where did you buy yours from? I like the sounds of not having to file out my stock!
 
I didn't know there was a 10 shot quik klip until recently when I bought a 30-06 so equipped on the EE. Had to promptly get another one and fit it up the same way after my kid claimed the first one.

There is a bit of stock relieving in in the mag cutout at least some cases. Took about 15 minutes with a couple files, then a bit of playing with the supplied spacers. They both work flawlessly and the five clips interchange between the rifles. One of the best things is its a licence to call magazines "clips" and there's nothing the mag guys can say about it.
 
Hey I have a Quick Clip in my 1980 Rem 700 300 Win Mag, this was my grandpa's, and has been very dependable for him and now me as I inherited it. It had a 10 shot magazine, but my uncle took it for his 7MM Magnum! Where in Canada can i order a 10 shot Magnum Quick Clip magazine? Thanks for the help!
