So I am in the research stage of purchasing my next Precision Rifle.
I want a Remington 700 in .300 Win Mag

My first question, is there much performance difference between 700 XCR Long Range, 700 SPS Long Range, and 700 Sendaro?

Which out of the 3 will drop into the TAC21 Long Action Chassis,

Do I need to purchase any mag convertion kit or anything else beyond the kit, stock and grip?

Last Question, out of the box, stock, which of the guns have a range of 700 yards, what would it take to get more range?

XCR LR and the Sendero are the same rifle diffrent colour and finish. The SPS is just a rougher finished rifle and obviously a lighter barrel. I personally would bed the XCR LR and put a jewel trigger on it if your on a budget.

Or option 2 is get the cheapest deal you can on a SPS and do a full build and have it all cericoated, Up to you.

Im not sure why you would want that chassis unless you liked the way it lookes. Better avenues to take than that for a WIN MAG in my opinion.

Looks like its for a 338 Lapua or something. Looks cool but at first glance, unessasary in my opinion. Id go Mcmillan A3 or A5 or something like that.

I read that the Remington Model 700 SPS Long Range has a "26" Heavy Contour Barrel"
I realize there is a $500+ price difference between the XCR, but how does the heavy barrels differ?

For 300 Win 700 yds is easy. Have you fired one? Don't work too hard to make it light unless you put a brake on it. 700 yds is easy for .308/7-08/.260 with less drama. My 300 tips the scale at 16 lbs and that's as light as I'd want it. If the Win Mag is going to be your prime shooter take a moment and consider a rifle in the calibers I listed above. I like my WM, I just wouldn't have it as my main target rifle.

Honestly i would have to assume that the rifles that you listed would pretty much have the same accuracy out of the box if you loaded for them. The real diffrence is i believe the XCR is stainless and obviously the sendero is, to where the SPS will be either or, probably Mild steal. I think you would have no problem getting a minute of angle with any of those guns at 1000 with the right load and a good bedding job in a fiber glass stock.

For the price of the XCR or the Sendero you can get the 5r Milspec in 300 win, much better option in my opinion, but I am biased - i just bought one two weeks ago! Spent the x-mas break bedding it as an "at home" project/get away from the seasonal festivities, haven't even shot it yet lol

I'm in the same boat with a 5R milspec. Put it in a McMillan A5. Absorbs the recoil reasonably well.
The .300WM is the one in behind, as the front is the 5R in .308.
