Nice rifle. Have you had it out to the range yet?

Here is my Rem 700 Long Range in the 25-06 caliber
Mounted with an Athlon Midas TAC 6-24x50 on Leopold Mark 4 steel rings
I'm curious why you bought this particular model and calibre combination. What do you intend to do with it? Shoot paper, varmints, or larger game?
You'll love this rifle after it's broken in. A bit heavy for humping up mountains after sheep, but a very accurate shooter!
yup, a bit heavy but I have a stealth 110BA who's even heavier but inside a drag bag, its not that bad after all.
I have 1 in 30/06,,, the only things I added was a Jewel trigger and a forward Australia quick draw pack sling.
Mine comes in at 13 pounds in target shooting mode,,, 8 3/4 lbs for hunting,,, Wildcat Composite stock,,, Ver-Tech that is a light weight pistol grip stock design. Super light and tuff as nails.
I'm cutting my barrel back to 24" for hunting.
Yes,,, very accurate rifle for sure,,, its the first unit I've used out of the box for the 1 mile,,, or the 1700 meter shoots.
Lots of shooting time in Alberta and Southern BC,,, new barrel on order to have on hand when the time comes.
