and what is the difference between the 700 SPS tactical and the regular 700 SPS dm? is it worth the extra few hundred bucks for the tactical? wheres the difference?

i see a shorter barrel?

Stock on the SPS tactical sucks ass, in my opinion. A buddy of mine has one (308), we've both put a bunch of rounds through it. You can flex the stock with your hand, and putting a bipod on it flexes the stock such that it contacts the barrel. Comb is so low it's a chin weld more than a cheek weld (this with a tps20moa and tps lows).
Other than that, the rifle is fine and is a good base to build on, but personally I'd ditch that stock. Recoil is a bit more than normal, but no big deal. Oh ya, and fireballs out the end haha.

No experience with the dm model, so I can't tell you the differences, other than it (obviously) has a detachable mag, and looks like a different stock. Since you're in Vancouver you should go by there and try shouldering both of them.
