Does anyone have any feed back on these? I currently own a Sako Finnlight in 30.06 that I love but the Titanium is a full 1.5 pounds lighter. plus I think it looks pretty cool. I have never owned a Remington so how do they compare? the price is about the same + or - 200 bucks.

Cheers,

Sean

I own a Ti 30-06 and it is 6 lbs 3 oz with a Leupold VXII 3-9x40 in Talley lightweights. What a dream to pack all day.

Havent played with it much at the range as I got it mid-deer season, and basically got it shooting straight and headed into the field.

Seems like a real winner though!

where does it look like it is edited? Nowhere in my post about my m700 Ti does it look altered by a mod...

I really like my m700 Ti, you should pick one up. Literally. Then make a decision.

Seeins as he doesn't get here often, Nugget got one in 300 saum. We got 180 moly coated combined techs going 3000 fps without getting even close to max loads. Accurate too. While not my favorite, he loves it. It destroys whitetails at short range just like any other magnum would, but it is like packing a .22 all day long. Until he puts on his 6-18 leupold and that bypod anyway......(sigh)

Its amazing how much diffence a pound makes if you are doing a lot of walking. I figure I could scope a 30.06 and keep it under 6 lbs.

WOW, that is light Todd. I seriously consider a Ti in 7mm-08 before I bought my Browning Ti in 300 Wsm. It weighs 6 3/4 all up with a Zeiss 3x9 which is 15 ounces

Never got a chance to hold a reminton, local dealer had issues getting one in,

you could be at 6 lbs even if you mounted a Leupold 4x or a ultralight VXII 3-9x33

I think the 700 ti's are great. I have one in 300 saum and love it. Although not nearly as light as the same rifle in 30-06 or 7mm-08, its still lighter than any other gun I own by a long shot.( keep in mind it sill has the full 24'' barrel and a fairly stout one at that) My gun is a hair over 7 lbs but my great big scope doesn't help in that department( 6-9X18 Leupold ) As far as accuarcy goes, I haven't owned it long enough to play around with it yet but so far I am happy. Cow elk @ 200, White tail buck and doe both at 50 or less, Mule deer @ 150 . I did miss a couple of times this year as well but I'm sure it had nothing to do with the gun! I think these guns are a great coice if you like remmies but there are alot of other rlfles that are showing up around the six pound mark, short mags included. Its comes down to what you'd prefer. Thats my 2 cents.
