Remington 700 trigger creep...

You need to adjust the lower screw in abit more. ALWAYS do trigger adjustments with the bolt open.
You may need to back off the upper screw abit till you get it set to your desires. I say upper and lower assuming the rifle is floorplate UP , so you can work on the trigger without standing on your head.

Sometimes the actual sears need the slightest bit of polishing. I suggest sending the trigger assembly to either Alberta Tactical Rifle or myself.

A reliable crisp 2.5 pound trigger, sometimes lighter is possible at a reasonable cost.

I agree but do not suggest the average fellow take onthis task, as pooching a sear is fairly easy to do. This is something I am in complete aggreement with Dennis on, leave the stone work to a pro

I regularily do trigger jobs on the 700 Rem. I have also seen many professional jobs. Once you try a Jewell or even a Shilen, never go back. It is money well spent and a good portion always recoverable if you ever decide to sell the trigger
