I had one when they first came out.....
The good:
-Fit and finish were well done, much nicer than the SPS rifle type finish
-Stock was nice, the "spiderweb" was well done
-Good metal that inspired confidence that it wouldn't rust using BP
The bad
-WTF is with that 3rd sling swivel stud?.... It's a BP rifle... Yes, black powder has come a long way, but really?
-The advertised "no need to remove the breach plug" is BS.....
-PITA to clean
I got rid of it and bought a break barrel set up due to ease of cleaning and the fact that I just plain prefer break barrels for BP guns.
That being said, if you like rem 700 rifles you will like it...... And if you collect rem 700's it will fit right in. It's good quality and if taken care of will last your lifetime.
