I am hoping someone here can help answer a question for me.
I recently purchased a take-off stock from a Remington 700P. I will be swapping this for the Hogue stock on my SPS Tactical AAC-SD. The HS Precision stock arrived today, and it looks a little different from the Hogue.
The stock has a notch on the top, to the left of the action (opposite the bolt knob). This is 4" long X 1/8" deep. This will not cause any issues with fitment, just curious as to why this stock has this.
