Remington 710 in 7 mm mag . Shoots and cycles fine . I read all the posts I could stand about the bolts sticking . My problem is .. Fire it and the bolt handle kicks up ??? . Sometimes maybe 1 / 4 inch ?? it has a scope so I didn't notice it really till some one was standing next to me watching me shoot . Is this common . I don't wanna ask if its bad . I think its not good . Any tips , advice , help , fixes ?? Before I take it in to a smith . If this is bad or common . I will go something else 7 mm mag . But have no idea what to get that would be better . Not interested in off shore stuff ( other then Enfields or SK,s ha ha ) only domestic brands ie rem win moss .. LE303
Ahem , not sure how to delete , my guy says they all do it by design

The 710 is not a high quality rifle and are plagued with several issues. I would upgrade if I was you. Savage 110/111 is a great rifle for decent money. I have several and they're very accurate

I sent your email to the armoury their response is below:

Totally normal, nothing to be concerned about
Hmmm , I sent a email detailing the issue and asking if a flaw or if just how they work . The above was the one sentence reply I received
