Remington 710 stock

My brother is looking for a thumbhole stock for a 710 in 30-06.
Any idea who makes them?

Not sure anyone makes them, but Boyd's Gunstocks may be worth checking out and then finding who in Canada deals their product.

with a new stock, at least the gun will look nice when the bolt flys out and hits you in face.

now, I've heard alotta #### talked about the 710, but this is the first I've heard of the bolt actually flying out of the back of the rifle. I've heard of that with the mossberg 4x4's though. At least I think it was the 4x4's...a Mossberg at least.
I own a 710 30-06, and based on the advice offered on this board, have decided to keep it as a backup rifle. I never heard anything about the bolts coming out the back of the action, could you point me to a reference or two?
