Remington 710 users?

I have experience with only 2 710's.

Guys brought them to the range and had problems with them right out of the box. I don't recall the exact problems as it was years ago but they both asked me to take a look at the rifles and both times I told them to return the rifles as they seemed unsafe or unusable.

In short, avoid at all costs.

True. Sadly. Just thought messin with a 710 would be fun, maybe.

Maybe look for a cheap 783. They aren't great but a big improvement on the 710 and 770.

Aren't these the guns that the bolt is known to blow back completely out of the reciever on the shot?

You can’t say anyone had a good thing about one? Literally been shooting mine for 14 years. Bolt never blew back, no jams ,works every time. It’s not a perfect rifle for some but mine works

Blah. They work. Not perfect but they are safe
