Remington 721

Looking at a Remington 721 as a future 338-06 build. Are they a good or bad rifle. Should I look for something to start with?

The 721/722 Remingtons are good rifles. But I would prefer to use a 700 to a 721. Most serious concern is the extractor. If it were to ever fail, replacements are next to impossible to find.

Forget the M721 just use a M700 lots of them avail still ! RJ
