Well despite the weather my friend and I managed to get his Rem 742 that was purchased from a CGN member sighted in with my old Bushnell 3200 3-9x40mm.

I also did a few groups with my Savage Predator and sighted in my Mossberg 500 12ga fully rifled barrel with Winchester 3'' magnum 385gr sabot slugs :shotgun: good thing it only took a couple shots to get it 100% that thing kicks like a mule. Went out to 100yds stuck up a new target and the first shot took out the center X and 2 more went basically though the same hole :dancingbanana:

Target shot with Savage Predator .22-250 Federal 55gr SP Factory ammo

How do you shoot 4 different groups at the same bulls eye? :confused:Do you adjust your scope a little for each group?

umm possably aiming at a different spot on the target....hope that answers your question. No point in changing the target after after each group we just adjusted where we were aiming much easier then walking 450yds every 3-5 shots.

No kidding!! Damn good shots with a 30-06 at 225 yards! Sure wish mine shot like that.....

I was suprised everyone talks so bad about semi's and accuracy and 742's dont have a great rep but this gun shoots but it seems to only work well with 165gr...150's wont group and 180's are even worse.

The .22-250 5 shot group was my last group and the last shot had to fudge it all up. I had a slight flinch after shooting 3-3'' magnum sabot slugs out of my mossberg and the recoil off the .22-250 hurt which is funny cause normally I dont notice any recoil from the .22-250 but by the 4th shot I had a flinch and it was time to call it a day....lol...
