Remington 742 Woodmaster

30-06 model 742 semi-auto. Broken extractor. Does anyone know a source? Brownell's web site says it can't be ordered.

Does it take a special tool to replace the extractor and rivet?

K.&E. gunparts in Saskatoon or Western gunparts in Edmonton. You can google them. Maybe the better idea is to take it to your local gunsmith.

I had a little trouble finding the right one for mine. Apparently there a 3-4 different extractors for those guns (74, 740, 742, 7400) throughout the years.
