Remington 760 barrel attachment?

How is the 760/742 barrel attached to the barrel bracket?

The barrel is screwed into the barrel extension, with the lug trapped between the two. You will need purpose built tools to disassemble them.

Have you had one apart? Do you know what the thread size is ?

I've rebarrelled them. Don't know the thread size. It is fairly small in diameter, and with a fine pitch.
