Remington 760 forestock wobble

I'm about to embark on another refinishing project for a friend Bluing, wood refinishing, etc. One thing I noticed was the amount of play in the forestock. I can't imagine it would be a lot if fun to shoot all wobbly like that. Either my Goggle-fu is broken or I'm blind, but I can't find a damn thing on how to tighten this thing up.

There is an o-ring at the front of the action tube. It is to prevent rattle between the tube and the action bar. It is probably in poor shape or missing.
