Remington 7600 Date of Manufacture

Hi guys, I just bought a Remington 7600 in .35 whelen and wondering if anybody can tell me the date of manufacture based on the serial number. The SN is B8323###. Tried searching the net but no luck. It's the one with engravings if that helps any. I'd appreciate any insight you might have. Thanks

Simply call Remington, 1-800-243-9700. Have your serial # handy, follow the prompts on the phone, an operator will come on and give you the rifle/shotgun date. Easy to do and best of all, it's free

You can date it by the barrel codes located on the left side of the barrel near the frame that identifies the year and month of manufacture.
