Does anyone know if these are available in Canada and if so for how much?
The fact that they use AR mags would probably mean they're restricted to 5 round cap, vs. the upcoming Dlask PAC 5 carbine, with a proprietary mag of 20-30 rd cap(legitimate for a pump action). Am I missing anything there?

Any idea why Dlask says the PAC 5 will be restricted?? A pump action wouldn't have a limited barrel length AFAIK, only a total length figure, so why restricted? Also, how much will it sell for? http://www.dlaskarms.com/

The Remington 7615P Pump Action .223 must be available in Canada. I saw some advertised a few months back in the Canadian Access to Firearms.
There was an add from one of the larger contributors about having some in stock. The price was $800 or something like that. I will look through my old issues and try to find it for you.

And really, how the hell is the PAC 5 an AR variant? Did someone miss the fact that it is PUMP ACTION? I'll have to go double check but I'm pretty sure my armalite is semi auto.

PAC 5 is restricted because in all of its worldly wisdom the CFC says its an AR variant.

What a load of bs that is... could Dlask take that to court, or could it become irrelevant if the CFC is closed down(I hope!!!)...???

CFC does not classify firearms. The RCMP firearms forensics department classifies firearms.

That being said, the PAC5 classification situation is complete BS.

There are some people on the board here who are challenging the 'powers that be' about mag restrictions because of the Storm magazine debacle. So hoepfully we'll hear about this soon.

If 10rnd CX4 Storm mags are illegal, but 10rnd Beretta 92FS mags are legal
thus does this mean...
If 30rnd AR mags are illegal, but 30rnd Rem 7615P mags are legal?

That would be TOO logical for the RCMP and CFC to understand...

Wholesale sports has them on there shelf here in Calgary.[/QUOTE

So you've handled one? What did you think of it? What mag did it have?

I fondled one at wholesale in edmonton. I was not overly impressed with it.IMHO It's not bad but it feels cheap. I cycled it a few times and set it back on the counter. It's not something I would buy anyway but the clerk said it's very popular. To each their own I guess. Also it only came with one five round mag.

I've got 7600 P, 16.5" barrel in 308 and believe me it doesn't feel cheap.:p

Since these pics I've replaced the AKFX buttstock with an M4 6 position and the front sight with an HK type hooded. It also folds:D

i remember about a year ago see it advertised on either milarm or p&d and they were selling unpinned ar mags for it
saying it was completely legal to buy them if u owned that rifle

two days later the ad dissepeared.

I was just wondering can you put an AR upper onto the PAC5 lower thus making it essentially an AR? The lower is the controlled item.
The answer is no, which makes the classification of variant very odd. I was told, while asking about my metal AR180B lower, that as long as an AR15 upper won't work on it, it's not an AR15 lower.

Since your gun doesn't take AR mags, it wouldn't be limited to 5 rounds, would it? However, are large cap mags even available for it?

Nice looking rifle BTW.
How much you want for the folding stock? (would it fit the 7615?)
