Isn't it the same gun as the old Charles Daly Mausers? Aren't they made by Zastava now? Pretty sure the Zastava Z98 is the same gun.

yes they are the same as the zastava. are they still makeing them? id sure like one i found the one on epps but it was to late to call
they make em in anything besides 223?

The Remington 799 was a Zastava produced mini mauser, not the same as the Z98 which is a commercial large ring mauser. If you check Zastava's website you will see the mini mausers still listed as the M85. Importing one could be a lengthy ordeal though. If you want one soon, pick up one of the Remington 799's still available.
