US state Dept has stopped all exports of short barrels, IRG told me recently , because I was looking at buying a short barrel from gun broker.

So, my guess, is that these barrels are the SAME batch from 2 years ago that were left on a skid until the time was right for a heavy mark-up.

I bought a very, very nice blued 14" with bead sight from a cgn member on here a few months ago for $400. Likely not going to stop global warming with the $130 difference. Magpul front stock with a Thrunite light attached for another $150 or so, now my 1956 model 870 is a usable 180lb cat deterrent at the front door. Just because it is flat, doesn't mean it was meant to stack.
