I have a Remington 870 tactical express. I want to attach a flashlight to the forestock to shoot in low light. What's a cost effective way to do that and what's the process? In terms of where to buy part and how to replace it.

The cheapest is probably a rallied plastic for end of some sort and then a flashlight with a mount to attach to the rail.
So many options try a google image search and see if anything catches your eye.

The stuff from isreal is pretty cheap/good.

You could also just buy a chunk of rail and mount it to your existing foreend

Where and what do you plan on shooting in low light? Just curious.

I'm going to guess that it would be a self defense situation between sundown and sunrise. Pretty rare but not impossible.
If you can't see your target it's hard to identify the threat and if needed actually aim effectively.

Think of it as a fire extinguisher sunray.... seldom needed but good to have around just in case.
