With that set up the AR flip up sights will be too high. It needs a mesa tactical high mount AR stock adapter.
I like mesa's long rail because of it's over lapping shroud that hides the large gap between the barrel and the rail.
The thing that kept me away from that top rail (and others) is that you need to undo the front mounting point in order to remove the barrel. You also need to have a 14" or longer barrel to mount it.
In my opinion, the new style KAC rail is the best that's out there. Even though it's much shorter, with flip up irons on it, the sight radius is still comparable to a carbine length AR15. You don't need tools to remove the barrel and you can use it on any barrel length (8"grizzly).

That is the Mesa tactical full rail system.
As stated it does not work with a low combe stock, needs to have a stock adaptor to bring the sights into alinement.
