How many of you have changed stocks on your shotgun and found that you dont own forend tool??
If your like me and not willing to pay $50-60 from brownells for the fancy forend tool. You end up making your own, which is a pain in the ass.

Good idea Bad Boy, I made one easy enough but lot's of people aren't that handy with the tools and you could also market this to aftermarket stock company's who could include this tool with their product to make swapping out foreend's easier for their customers....

Yes for sure we could do that.
The reason we made it from stainless is that is has less chance of rusting, stronger then most non treated steel,s.
The tool in the photo i have bent and hammered back to shape many times.
Our tool you will not have to do that.
 
Nice idea being flat for easy storage! I have seen thin walled sockets machined around the edges to leave two tabs but this looks good! Is the hole in the top to put a screwdriver etc through for a little torque?
 
Removal tools have been made from sockets, flat steel - somewhere here is my post about making the flat version from a few years ago - using snap ring pliers.

I have flat ones and a Menck tool.

Yep 1/4 inch hole in put in a screwdriver ect to make it nice and snug.
