Remington 870 Safety Issue - missing ball fix

So, went to put back together an arma-coated 870 wingmaster and noticed the ball was missing from the safety. Found the diameter was 0.140". Turns out, so is no 3 shot. I cut open an old 12ga load of no3 steel and bam. Instant fix.

Searched on here and never saw this fix, so figured I would share my very cheap fix. (saved me from buying a spare safety or having to order and pay s&h for something so miniscule. Hopefully it saves guys and gals some money.

You could post the remaining shot on the EE for $1.00 a pop and make a fortune. Can state in the ad that you have more than enough to last 3 lifetimes..... :)

And in an unrelated THREAD HIJACK, if you have a Baikal 153 and the carrier release spring is missing, you can use the spring from a cigarette lighter as a replacement! Totally works.
