Is there a way to get these? I was looking around online and it seems Americans can buy stripped police receivers for $250~.

I'm wanting to build a 14" and would like it to be parkerized, seemingly building from a bare reciever would be the ideal route, rather than stripping and selling parts from an existing one.

Receiver is the firearm part, so you will have to get it imported. Buy a complete wingmaster for $250 and build from there.

Haven't seen a complete Wingmaster for $250. Not even close to that. :(

But I was hoping someone in Canada carries or can order bare recievers.

I bought an absolute mint wingmaster from Epp's on Saturday for $250. I'll sell the barrel for $100, and the stock set for about $75 and start from there. It doesn't need Parked, but I will teflon coat it, add a Dlask 14" barrel and there you go. Gunshops should start getting shotguns in soon, once the Christmas bills start coming in. They are still available, you just have to be quick since they go almost instantly.

Well dogzilla. Seems like you got quite the deal.

The other Wingmaster there listed in "fair" condition showed 12x3 for $279.

I figured it was a Wingmaster magnum and emailed them about it.

Turns out its a regular Wingmaster, in poorer condition for more money than the one you bought.

Lol jelly

I had a look at that one too.The barrel is some kind of special aftermarket english barrel that is supposed to be super accurate, which added to the price, but the gun itself was generally poor. I don't mind a poor finish if the internals are good since I do my own parking and teflon coating. Keep an eye on their website. $200-$250 is what Wes says is the average price they can get for a 2 3/4 wingmaster, and they get them in fairly often. The fancy trap or skeet models are generally higher priced because of the fancy wood. The one I got looked brand new and even the police style stocks didn't have a single mark on them. You just have to be quick (living 20 mins away helps)

Yeah I looked up the barrel but like you said the guns condition was meh it looked WELL used. There was some odd marks and some rust it seemed. Guess I'll be patient.

Oh man... that was you who bought that Winger! ha ha ha Good on ya!

I love the older Wingers! Just bought a used one off the EE Forum for my son's clay birding!

One of these days ya gotta start a thread about your teflon coating skills!

Cheers,
Barney

I love the old wingmasters, (I have 5 in my gun case at the moment) all of them in differant configurations. Parts are easy to get (not that much ever goes wrong with them). The boss doesn't mind if I take them in and do some work on them so I usually port most of my barrels and do the sandblasting, and then park and teflon coat in the garage.(I'm no Rembrandt but it isn't rocket science either). The best part is that they come up all the time and that you can do good build at a reasonable price. I won't even look at the DA stuff, had one and sold it unfired
