The last i shot it was in sept. Gave it a total breakdown cleaning and its been in the safe since. Thought i would give it a cleaning last night. but now i can't get the barrel to come off. Its seized on. How can i get it out? is it okay to force it or tap it out? I have a feeling this is probably going to get bad.

I doubt it could be that bad. Run your finger in the chamber, if you don't feel something along the lines of a barrel split then it's probably just got a hunk of gook freezing it up.

Step 1, give it a good spray with some lube and let it sit for 8 or 24. Give it another try to get it off. If it's still giving you grief, get a chuck of 2 x 4 and give it a few light taps and see what happens.

Don't overlook the obvious either. You're concentrating on the receiver, but make sure the pump is sliding clean, there isn't a bad thread on the mag cap, ect.

OK i will lube it and let it sit. I don't feel any damage in the chamber. I will see how it goes.

is it the tactical with the xs scope base and iron sight?
if so the front rail screw is in too far, on the long ones is in from not the short one.
